AVG Free 8.5 "Trusted by 80 million users" ..... Is a totally free application only for home users (single computer use) and not for commercial use. This application has a good reputation in the computer industry. With this free edition you can only get the basic protection, which includes (just to mention some) protection against viruses, spyware, adware and Trojans. Protects in real time against corrupt web pages. Real-time safety ratings for all search results in Google, Yahoo and MSN/Live search, etc.
In this version you will be able to run in your browser the AVG Toolbar, where you can have access to LinkScanner tools immediately. This LinkScanner option is a new security component where you can be protected in real time against corrupted web pages while you´re surfing.
